It has been way too long since an update on Joshua, so I had to find some time in the day to post. Joshua is fantastic, he is 10 1/2 months. The cliche "they grow up so fast" is oh so true. He is doing great developmentally, and is catching up better than expected. We still compare his development to a baby 2 months younger, so here are some updates:
Weight: 21 pounds
Height: 28 3/4 inches
Clothes: 12 months
Teeth: Not yet - but sooooo close!
He is on the verge of crawling, he loves to move his feet all around on his tummy, and seems to do more of a swimming move than anything. He is eating stage 2 and 3 foods with pears and squash being his favorites. He is more of a fan of the fruits and veggies than the meats.
Joshua really loves to clap his hands and enjoyes watching other people play along. He loves to be out of the house and his new exciting adventure is being in a shopping cart.
Now that I am back to work, part time, Joshua plays with a fellow co-worker's wife and their two girls once a week. The two girls are close to Joshua's age, so they play great! I walk in the door and they are on the floor with each other just babbling in baby talk. Their house is right down the street from my school, so I can go visit Joshua at lunch time, and talk with him on the ride home! It is working out great, and I feel completely comfortable leaving Joshua in her care all day.
Thankfully, Joshua still loves to cuddle with mommy at night before bed...I am nervous for the day when he won't want to cuddle anymore, so I am soaking it up now! Here are some pictures from the past couple of weeks... Enjoy!
